This family run hotel offers tastefully furnished accommodation with 19 en suite rooms, all with satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary wireless broadband.

The difference is the service. The hotel extends a warm and friendly welcome to all guests and promise you a 1st-class stay at very competitive prices. The gourmet restaurant offers full à la carte silver service meals, with an emphasis on local Lancashire dishes. In addition, residents can benefit from an excellent and highly competitive weekday menu and fully licensed bar.

The restaurant is an extension of the warm and friendly atmosphere of The Alexander Hotel. Overseen by chefs David Hoole and Carol Bottomley, who have both international and very local experience and influences in their cooking, the emphasis is on local, fresh food, cooked for your delight.

You’re sure to find flavours to suit your palate and mood from the varied and daily changing menu offerings. Ingredients are selected that are both wholesome and regionally sourced, for example Morecambe Bay prawns, Trough of Bowland lamb and cheeses and ice creams from local farmhouses.
